![]() ![]() If you are getting very frustrated with a certain battle or some part of the game, then by all means cheat a little to get past it. I have played through Dragon Age as a rogue and completed the game, and I had a very fun time doing so. In this article, I will show you how to get into the Dragon Age: Origins console and run these commands.īefore we get into the console commands in Dragon Age: Origins, I would first like to comment on cheating in this game. ![]() The console is often a leftover piece of coding used by the game designers for playtesting, and it gets left behind for users to run cheats, generate items, and so on. Many games include a special in-game console for trying special commands, and Dragon Age: Origins is no different. So, for now we will just have to hurry up and wait for the developers from whichever corporate name to reveal the final answers to us in regard to our desires.Console Commands and Cheats for Dragon Age Origins I personally disagree with that philosophy as that means that I cannot play and enjoy the game in the fashion that I prefer for the time being (which also probably means that I won't bother to put much time into it for now) but I can see the logic behind it. So, if they are being coy about giving an answer, then that probably means that they want to give everyone the chance to play the game "normally" first, then give away the cheats after a certain amount of time. After all, if the answer was negative, why would they keep it a secret for now? It would do nothing but raise hopes and then dash them later when the negative answer is revealed which, from a marketing standpoint, could/would leave a sour taste in people's mouths. since they have not said undeniably that the answer is no. Now, if I were to speculate, I would think that the answer would be that, yes, there is a way to gain immortality, add XP, gift yourself gold, etc. In other words, rather than a definitive no, it seems that it is a possible maybe. She has said that the information about cheat commands for the console has not yet been released even to the help desk, so it is inconclusive as to whether such commands exist. ![]() ![]() Well, as no one of the EA/Origin/Bioware variety has chimed in here, I submitted a chat request to EA Help and just got off the window with Karen Joy. ![]()
